As a subsidiary of game e.V., the German games industry association, we focus on delivering our services for some of the most important industry events within the association’s framework.

Our full-service event management covers prestigious industry gatherings, including devcom developer conference, all devcom-branded formats, the German Computer Game Awards (DCP) and the game summer fest.

Founded in 2019 as devcom GmbH, the company rebranded to game events GmbH in 2024, continuing its mission to support and elevate the video game industry.

Under the gamescom dev brand, we organize key industry events – above all Europe’s largest developer conference, held annually as part of gamescom, the world’s largest games event.

The German Computer Game Awards are the most important awards in the German games industry where the Federal Government, represented by the Federal Ministry for Economics Affairs and Climate Action, together with game e.V., honors the best video games of the year from Germany.
